Sarah J. Zvekan, CFP^®

As a native Metro Detroiter and a second-generation financial advisor following her father, William J. Brown, CHFC^®, CLU^® since 2007, Sarah is passionate about working closely with families in passing down values with a successful wealth transfer plan to the next generation.

She has earned a Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University along with her CFP^® certification and holds the Series 7 and 63 licenses. Sarah has a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University, where she was a Rower on the NCAA Division I Crew Team, Scholar Athlete, Dean’s List recipient, and Graduate of the Honor’s College.

Sarah lives near Coeur d'Alene, Idaho with her husband, Will, and two boys, Emmet and Nash, and can memorably be referred to as “the Compass Family” since their names make up the directions of a compass (N/S/E/W). She and her family love admiring God’s creation and enjoy permaculture gardening in their backyard where they keep bees, chickens, fishponds, and many varieties of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. They often have some other wild visitors as well being very close to the Idaho Panhandle National Forest ranging from bears, moose, elk, wolves, coyotes, birds of prey, and deer, so they keep a large Komondor or Hungarian sheep dog named Atlas as a pet/protection. They love to explore this beautiful country together in their RV, travel to the snowy mountains for alpine skiing, fish & row in the beautiful lakes & rivers, ride mountain bikes together, and enjoy supporting & serving in their local church & community.
